1. Who We Are and How We Are Funded

CorporateLegal.tech LLC ("CorporateLegal.tech", "we", "us" or "our") operates www.corporatelegal.tech (the "Site"), a free directory of Companies and Products for in-house legal departments. In this policy, "Company" means a business listed in the directory, "Product" means a product or service a Company offers, and "Sponsor" means a Company that pays for a sponsorship package, including the Verified badge.

The Site is funded by Sponsors. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with Sponsors or other Companies except as described in Section 4.

2. Information We Collect

• Introduction Requests: When you ask to be introduced to a Company, we collect your name, job title, employer, email address, phone number and message.
• Contact and Submission Forms: When you contact us or submit a Product or article, we collect the information you enter.
• Creator Profiles: If you contribute content as a Creator, we collect and publicly display your name, professional biography, headshot and social media links as you provide them.
• Sponsor Accounts: When a Company buys a sponsorship, we collect the business contact details and billing information needed to deliver and invoice the sponsorship. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
• Usage Data and Cookies: We collect standard analytics data, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, using cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate and improve the Site, respond to inquiries, route introduction requests, publish Creator content, deliver and bill sponsorships, keep the Site secure, and comply with law.

4. How Introductions Work

A CorporateLegal.tech moderator reviews every introduction request. If appropriate, we forward it only to the Company you selected, through that Company's preferred channel. Whether or not that Company is a Sponsor, it receives your request only when you ask for an introduction to it. By requesting an introduction, you consent to this transfer. Once forwarded, the Company's own privacy policy governs how it uses your information.

5. Service Providers

We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Webflow, for website hosting, content management and e-commerce checkout
• Microsoft 365, for email and internal operations
• HubSpot, for contact and lead management
• Our payment processor, for Sponsor payments

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to work and analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

7. Data Retention

We keep introduction request data for two years from your last interaction with us, and Sponsor billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We then delete or anonymize the data unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

8. Security and Data Breaches

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. If a breach affects your personal information, we will investigate, take steps to limit the harm, and notify you and regulators as required by applicable law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Right to Know: Learn what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
• Right to Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Right to Deletion: Ask us to delete your personal information.
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of certain uses of your information.

To make a request, email hello@corporatelegal.tech. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, respond within the timeframes required by law (typically 30 days), and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States. If you use the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Children

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new date.
