Summary

We respect copyright. If you believe something on our Site infringes yours, send a notice to our designated agent and we will act on it promptly.

Our designated agent

CorporateLegal.tech LLC has designated the following agent to receive notices of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA):

Copyright Agent
CorporateLegal.tech LLC
117 S Lexington St, Ste 100, Harrisonville, MO 64701, USA
Email: copyright@corporatelegal.tech · Phone: (417) 413-4082
U.S. Copyright Office registration number: DMCA-1083563

How to send a takedown notice

Your notice must be in writing and include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
  3. the URL or other location of the material on our Site;
  4. your name, address, phone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly false claims can create liability for damages under the DMCA.

What we do

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material promptly and notify the person who provided it, where we can.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to our agent that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. a description of the material and where it appeared before removal;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address and phone number; and
  5. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the US, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We will forward your counter-notice to the person who complained. If they do not tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We will remove content from, and stop publishing, contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright.
