Directory Listing Terms

Summary

Listing in the CorporateLegal.tech directory is free. Companies can pay for extra visibility through a sponsorship, but payment never buys a listing, a ranking or our opinion. We edit every listing and may decline or remove any of them.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to any Company that is listed in our directory, submits a listing, or asks us to change one. They work alongside our Terms of Use. Paid features are also governed by our Sponsor Agreement, which takes priority for anything about sponsorship.

2. Free listings

• How Companies are listed: we add Companies and Products that we believe are relevant to corporate legal departments. We add some from our own research and others from submissions through our submission form.
• What a free listing includes: a Company profile, Product listings, category and tag placement, a description written by our editors, and a link to the Company's website.
• No fee: there is no charge to be listed, and there never will be.

3. Paid features (sponsorship)

A Company can buy a Professional, Premier or Strategic sponsorship to add the Verified badge and extra features, such as featured placement, lead capture and media. Features, prices, renewals and refunds are set out on our Sponsor page and in the Sponsor Agreement. In summary:

• Fees are shown at checkout and paid in advance for an annual or multi-year term.
• Fees are non-refundable once a term has begun, and early cancellation does not earn a prorated refund.
• Sponsorships do not renew automatically. We will contact you before your term ends to offer a renewal.

4. Accuracy of information

• Descriptions are written by our editors from public information and material the Company provides.
• Companies are responsible for the accuracy of anything they supply, including logos, screenshots, features, certifications, customer counts and performance claims.
• We may verify claims and may decline to publish claims we cannot verify.
• Companies can report errors under our Corrections Policy. We will correct factual errors but are not required to adopt marketing language.

5. Our editorial control

We decide:

• whether a Company or Product is listed;
• its name, category, tags and description;
• how listings are ordered and displayed, except where a sponsorship includes a specific placement; and
• whether to edit, decline or remove a listing, for example because it is inaccurate, no longer relevant, discontinued, misleading or unlawful.

6. No endorsement

A listing, with or without the Verified badge, is not a review, test, certification, ranking or endorsement. Companies must not describe their listing or the Verified badge as an award, certification or endorsement. A Sponsor may say it is a "Verified Sponsor on CorporateLegal.tech".

7. Trademarks and materials

By submitting logos, screenshots or other materials, a Company confirms it has the right to share them and grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them in its listing, in directory pages, in our newsletter and on social media for as long as the listing is live.

8. Introductions and leads

Readers can ask to be introduced to a Company through a "Request Info" form. A moderator reviews each request before forwarding it. We do not guarantee the number or quality of introductions. Companies must handle any personal information they receive lawfully and in line with their own privacy policy.

9. Removal requests

A Company may ask us to remove its listing by emailing products@corporatelegal.tech. We will usually agree unless we have a legitimate editorial reason to keep a factual mention, such as in a published article or market map.

10. Liability and law

The disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law (Missouri) and venue (Christian County, Missouri) in our Terms of Use apply to these terms.
