Tonkean

Tonkean is a process orchestration software company founded in 2015 by Sagi Eliyahu and Offir Talmor, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with a development center in Tel Aviv, Israel. It builds no-code automation that sits over existing enterprise systems and routes internal service requests to the right people and tools. Coupa, the procurement software vendor, acquired Tonkean in May 2026.

Tonkean started as a general workflow automation platform and narrowed onto intake and orchestration for internal service functions, raising a 50 million dollar Series B led by Accel in 2021 and about 84 million dollars in total. It packaged the platform into function-specific products, notably LegalWorks for legal operations and ProcurementWorks for procurement, and agreed in May 2026 to be acquired by Coupa, which said the team would continue operating under the Tonkean name inside the group.
